Rights Respecting School

In February 2017 we were delighted to receive the Silver Rights Respecting School Award, making us a ‘rights aware’ school.  This is an award given to schools by UNICEF, a leading organisation for children and their rights.

A rights-respecting school not only teaches about children’s rights but also models rights and respect in all its relationships.

The ‘Rights Respecting School Award’ (RRSA) helps our children grow into thoughtful, respectful and responsible young members of the school and wider community. By learning about their rights, our children also learn about the importance of respecting the rights of others.

Our Rights Respecting Representatives are working hard around school to ensure all children are aware of their Rights and to support children in having their rights met.
