🌟 Welcome to The Den – Our New ARP Opening September 2025 🌟
We are thrilled to announce the opening of our brand-new Additional Resource Provision (ARP), lovingly known as The Den, in September 2025. The Den has been thoughtfully designed to support children with Communication and Interaction needs, offering a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child can thrive. Inside The Den, children have access to three distinct areas: the dark den for sensory regulation, the play den for social and imaginative exploration, and the learning den for focused learning. Each space has been created to meet a range of needs and foster a sense of safety, curiosity, and growth.
Children in The Den use this space as their main classroom, following a bespoke curriculum tailored to their individual strengths and needs. Where appropriate, they also dip into their mainstream chronological year group, allowing for meaningful inclusion and interaction across the wider school community. This flexible approach ensures that every child receives the right balance of support and peer engagement, helping them build confidence and develop key communication skills.
Our continuous provision within The Den is designed and enhanced to promote essential learning through play, exploration, and structured activities. It’s a space where children can work on core skills in a way that feels natural and engaging. We are proud to have a passionate and dedicated team within The Den: Miss Wilbraham, Mrs Hitchin, Miss Clapp, and Miss Jobling. Their warmth, insight and commitment to education ensures that The Den provides an accessible learning environment tailored to the needs of every child.
